Amanda attended Illinois State University, however her interest and love of animals lead her back to the veterinary field for the past 14 years. She has worked side by side Dr. Cook as his surgical assistant for the past 8 years, assisting with arthroscopy, laproscopy, endoscopy as well as fractures and open soft tissue procedures. On a typical day you will find her helping Dr. Cook with a CCL repair using an Arthrex Tightrope system. When she is not at Valley Veterinary Surgery, she loves spending time with her husband and three young children, dogs and cat.
