About Us

Dr. Robert C. Cook, DVM

Dr-cook3Dr. Cook graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Biology in 1983 and received his DVM in 1987. He founded Animal Medical Clinic of St. Charles in 1990 and began Valley Veterinary Surgery in 1999. While he still loves to be involved with daily cases, he has limited his practice to surgery, with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgical procedures and arthroscopy. Experience matters when choosing a team that will be performing complex procedures on your pet.

Referral Policy

Valley Veterinary Surgery is available for consultation and/or treatment of surgical referral cases. Our emphasis is on minimally invasive surgical procedures and a conservative approach to orthopedic surgery. We will communicate and work together with your referring veterinarian to provide outstanding care to patients and clients, ensuring the best possible outcome.
